Drunk as a Skunk

Jim walked into the loft, keenly aware his roommate was already home. The first thing that assaulted him when he walked in was the smell of alcohol and the unmistakable smell of ejaculation. He noticed the doors to Blair's bedroom were closed, but Jim knew he had to talk to Blair about what was going on. This had been happening with regularity over the past several weeks.

Jim walked over to the door and knocked. There was no answer and the door didn't open. Jim listened inside the room. He heard soft snores and had to smile. No doubt Blair had exhausted himself between the alcohol and the jacking off. Jim opened the door, surprised by the sight that greeted him there. Blair was draped over his bed, naked from the waist down, asleep. Jim couldn't help but look. And stare. After all, he was only human. He was able to sit down on the edge of the bed and noticed the empty bottle of whiskey on the floor. Jim bent over to pick it up and place the empty bottle on the table there.

"Why can't you talk to me, Chief? You know you can talk to me about anything. Even if you love me…" The last line was said softly.

Jim reached out and ran his hand over the top of Blair's head, pausing in the curls there. It was like touching silk. Jim should just tell Blair the truth. But not now, when Blair was drunk and unconscious.

Jim got to his feet and moved Blair around so that he was fully on the bed. He covered the younger man with the blanket and bent down to bestow a kiss on Blair's forehead.

"We'll talk later, Chief. You need to know the truth about how I feel. I think you feel the same."

Just when Jim turned to leave, he heard Blair. "…love ya, Jim."

Jim turned around, but knew Blair was still asleep. It must have been a dream. Or a vision. Jim's mind was made up for sure now. He would tell Blair about his feelings and his love.
