Help Given

Jim sat at his desk in the bullpen of Major Crime. He was supposed to be doing his backlog of reports, but he didn't feel like doing them. Instead, he was thinking about Blair. The smile came across his face as he pictured Blair in their bed that morning, snuggling close to Jim. In exchange for mind-blowing sex, Blair promised to fix dinner. He had the day off from the university. Jim had tried to persuade the younger man to come into the station to help with the backlog of reports, but Blair had a comeback for that.

"Sorry, babe. Simon told me he wanted YOU to do the reports. He's tired of you taking advantage of me."

"You think I take advantage of you?" Jim was actually pouting.

Blair leaned over to kiss Jim on the lips. "No, babe. You don't take advantage of me. But I better stay clear of the station for a while."

"Okay, love. You stay here in bed and I'll get ready to go into work."

Jim had slipped out of the bed, looking back at his lover, wanting nothing more than to jump back into the bed and ravish the younger man again. He could feel his penis getting hard with the thought. Jim went downstairs to take his shower and get dressed, keeping distance between him and Blair to accomplish the tasks. He had a quick breakfast of toast and coffee before grabbing his badge, gun and jacket. He went over to the bottom of the stairs leading to his and Blair's bedroom.

"How about we meet for lunch?" Jim called up.

Blair popped his head over the edge of the railing. "Sounds good to me. I'll be there at 12:00."

"I'll look forward to it. Love you, sweet."

It was Blair's turn to pout. "I don't get a goodbye kiss?"

"Not dressed the way you are!" Jim chuckled.

"But, Jim, I'm not dressed…" Recognition dawned on Blair's face. "Oh. I get your point. Bye, babe." Blair blew Jim a kiss.

Jim smiled as he remembered the grin on Blair's face. Blair really did corrupt him. It was because of Blair that Jim was behind on his reports. Blair had distracted Jim one night when he decided to stay late to get caught up. Blair was lonely and had come to the station, pulling Jim into an interrogation room and having his way with the detective. Jim didn't fight it at all, but he also didn't get any work done on his reports.

Jim looked at his watch. It was 11:55 AM. Blair would be there soon. Jim had decided to treat Blair to whatever restaurant he wanted to go to. Jim would wrangle a way for Blair to help him with the reports. He knew Blair would do it for him.

Jim looked up just as Blair came bounding into the bullpen and over to Jim's desk. Jim wanted to take Blair in his arms and kiss him, but knew he couldn't in full view of their friends and colleagues. Jim was content to pat Blair on the shoulder to try to stop his bouncing. Blair just smiled at Jim.

"So, where are we going for lunch?" Blair asked, still bouncing.

Jim placed both hands on Blair's shoulders to stop him, but couldn't keep the smile off his face. They were inches apart and Jim wanted to plant a kiss on those lush lips. "Your choice, Junior."

Blair chuckled, looking Jim in the eye. "My choice, huh? Okay, how about that Italian place down the block. It's a perfect day and we can walk there."

"Perfect day? What's the temperature outside?" Jim couldn't stop the laugh that came out.

"Oh, about 65. It's warm enough for me." Blair hadn't taken his eyes off Jim.

"Okay, the Italian place it is." Jim turned Blair around and then released his shoulders, gently pushing him forward. Jim followed Blair out of the bullpen and into the elevator.

Once the doors closed, Blair descended upon Jim, giving him a passionate kiss. "I missed you, babe! It's a good thing we're the only ones in this elevator. I don't think I could have waited otherwise."

"You would have, love. I've got a favor to ask you." Jim looked at Blair, finally leaning in to give him a little kiss on the end of his nose. Blair laughed.

"What favor, Jim?"

"After lunch, I want you to help me with my reports. You can tell Simon it was your idea that you want to do it."

"Jim, I don't know… I don't want to get into trouble, or get you in trouble. I could be banned from the station."

"No, you won't be banned from the station. You have every right to be there as much as anyone else. You're still a consultant with Major Crime. I really need your help."

"Okay, okay. But it's going to cost you, Ellison. You let me have my way tonight."

Jim couldn't resist the groan that came out of his mouth. He was getting hard again. The things Blair could do to him. "Okay, you can have your way tonight."

Blair smiled and kissed Jim one last time before the elevator reached the parking garage. "Thanks, babe! You won't regret it."

And Jim was sure he wouldn't regret it.
